Meeet Roo, a Beagle/Dachshund mix born approx 11/8/24. Roo is doing really well on house training. She's only had a couple of accidents in the house and is doing great on kennel training. She used to whine and bark for a little while and now she just lays down and goes to sleep. She is also great with the kids. She does jump up sometimes but we are working on learning to stay down. She always wants to play with our other dog, especially when they are outside. She doesn't like to be let outside without someone going with her and barks until you walk out with her. She does well on a leash unless you are going a way she doesn't want to go. She cries a little when she is first put in the kennel in the car but after a little while she lays down and naps. Roo loves to lay with you and when doing so, she has to be touching you. She also loves to play with her squeaky toys. She is slowly learning to play fetch and when she is running after her toy she hops like a kangaroo when she gets near it to grab it. She also loves to give kisses and will be the sweetest addition to her forever family!  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
