Hello, beautiful world! My name is Lola, and I am a Lab born approx 3/22/22.  My foster mom says I have THE cutest Dobbie ears she has ever seen. Do you like Dobbie? I have no idea what she's talking about, but I'm a go with the flow kinda gal, so I'm just rolling with it. Cute is cute, right?

If you hype me up, I will walk into my kennel all by myself and settle after a minute. Sometimes I don't make a peep. The more we do the routine, the more accepting I am of the kennel. Go me! I haven't had any accidents in the house, and I go potty pretty quickly when I get let out. I think this means I am house-trained or pretty close to it.

So far, my favorite pastime here is standing with my face in the breeze and playing with the other dogs. It took me a little while to warm up to them, but now they're my besties. My foster mom gets so excited to give us treats. She says I take them really gently.

I walk well on a leash and respect the end of it. I have thick brown/red fur. I only tried to jump out of the bath 2 times; they were half-hearted attempts just to keep foster mom on her toes and test the boundaries around here. One has to be SURE. I'm sure you understand. She understands, too, I DID NOT make it past her. I'm medium to low energy, about 30 pounds, occasionally jump up like a unicorn, and wave my arms when I'm REALLY excited. Anyone who thinks about adopting me must enjoy giving belly rubs, because I love me some belly rubs!

I am dog-friendly and cat avoidant. The cat here really runs the show and passively bullies me by sitting by me and trying to play. Then I have to hide because he's scary.

The human baby is about 7 months old. I like to lick his hands, and then he laughs and laughs. Not sure why they don't let me lick his face, but I would if I could. I love that little guy.

P.S. I'm basically a mini Labrador. If you don't believe me, ask my foster mom. She has a lot of Labradors.

Hope to see you soon.
