Hi, I'm Macalpin aka Mac, a 2-year-old Yorkie mix. I'm the true definition of a lap dog. I love to be with my favorite people, snuggling, taking a nap, or following my foster mom around like a shadow. I'm doing very well with potty training as long as I'm on a schedule. I'm ok in the kennel, but I prefer to be with the rest of the family. But my kennel is my safe space. I'm a very calm boy, with short bursts of energy, and then I'm ready for a nap again. I walk well on a leash, unless I'm scared or cold, then I'd rather run back into the house. I am good with kids, but I don't like loud noises or people moving too fast, and I like to be held until I'm comfortable in new spaces. I get nervous around other animals in the beginning and just want to be held until I am no longer nervous. I do well in the car, and love to go everywhere with my foster mom in her bag. I'm a low-energy dog that just wants to be with my family in my forever home.
