Hi, my name is Pastelito which means “cupcake” in Spanish. And I am as sweet as one too! I am estimated to be a 2 year old Chihuahua mix.  My favorite thing is snuggling with my person. I love a tummy rub. When I’m not being a snuggle bug, I really like playing with stuffy toys. They are so fun! I have one that has smaller toys inside of it and that is awesome! I like running around in the fenced backyard and then I come back to be with my people. I am a confident, happy dog. I live with a small dog and a large dog and we get along great. They don’t want to play which kind of stinks but I respect that and I just play with my toys by myself! I’ve never had an accident in my house! I bark at strangers a little as that’s what a dog does, right? And I may chase kitties, but not to hurt them. I sleep in my kennel during the day when my person is at work, usually around eight hours. I can sleep in my crate at night too, but I much prefer to sleep with my person and I’m very polite when I do. I can be a little mouthy when I play and we’re working on that. I am very food motivated as I had a rough start in life so training should be easy. I haven’t been around kiddos since I’ve been in rescue.  My foster mom says I am one of the best pups she’s ever had – perfect in so many ways. I’m ready to find my forever home and cuddle with my new family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
