Libby Lou is a Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix with estimated birthday of February 2025.  She is a total sweetheart. She is a typical puppy, and can definitely cause some mischief if you don’t keep a close eye on her! She decided right away she was not going to stay in her playpen and has figured out how to climb out of it! She likes to chew and loves playing with our other foster dog, Patrick. She also loves attention from the whole family including our kids. So far she hasn’t noticed the cat. She is only left alone for a couple of hours at a time, for errands and such. She’s got plenty of energy but also still needs lots of naps. She is getting used to her crate and only whines a little during the day. At night she does complain for a little bit but she seems to be getting used to the routine. We are working on potty training. She’s had some accidents which is to be expected, and she does tinkle when she gets excited that she’s going to be let out of her crate. She still needs to be let out once overnight. She will need some good puppy classes to learn manners and leash walking but I have full confidence that she’ll be a quick study.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
