My name is Nalou (Naw Lou).  I am 10 months old and arrived from Texas just  6 months ago. I still have a bit of a Texas drawl but becoming a Minnesoooota dog rapidly. I love it here. I am a  Rhodesian Ridgeback / black-mouth Cur mix. People tell me I am beautiful young lady. I am an active and lively puppy that loves to swim. I like to play with other dogs and people but am a little shy at first.  I can even live with cats… well, at least the two I was living with for a while. 

I am house trained but with all of this traveling haven’t found the bell  in my box to let you know I need to go out so you will need to remember to let me out until I can get reacquainted with the “system”. I am working on speaking!   I can sit and lay down. I just get so excited to see people that it is hard for me to stay in one place too long.  I love to run and go for walks every day.   Once of my favorite things to do is play with my 5 year old, human friend. I can still out run him but he can run fast for a little guy. My birthday is November 12. I can’t wait. I love attention and love to be loved.  Hmmm.. Maybe I’ll get a new leash and a ball for my birthday…and a family that will love and keep me for a long time.

Nalou will be getting spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
