Java is an 8 year old Yorkie Poo weighing 3.9 pounds. He is an eternal puppy! He was purchased and brought to our home when our youngest child was 10 years old and her siblings were going to be going to college. He has been a wonderful member of our family and he believes he is a person. We named him Java because he is black and we all love coffee. He is incredibly playful and engaging and loves to sit on our laps and be held whenever possible. He sleeps with a member of the family each night and easily adapts to whomever. When we leave our home for the day, we gate him into our laundry room and leave a puppy pad for him toilet on. Java also toilets outside on command or alerts us to when he needs to "potty" or "poo". He does not need to be chained and comes back to the door when he is finished. Java is nervous around small children and babies and becomes agitated and does not like to share attention with them. Because we would not want Java to become offensive,(which he never has)we are requesting the family that Java is adopted into would be attentive, playful, loving, caring and patient. Java would be an excellent pet for a family preferably with older children or no children.
