Rocky is a Pug/Boston Terrier mix.  He was born in September 2006 and was purchased from a pet shop when he was just a small puppy.  He was bullied by his brothers and sisters while in the small glass bin at the pet store.  That is why he has a small piece of his ear missing and a small slit in his tongue.  He has been a loving sweet dog that does many tricks such as; sit lay down, roll over, play dead, and high five.  He loves to go on walks, play tug of war, occasionally play fetch, but mostly likes to lay in the sun or on the couch and get his tummy rubbed:) He does not like big dogs because he was attacked twice in the last 2 years by other dogs.
I think he would do best in a home where there are older children or older adults that have time to spend with him.  He needs a fenced in yard as he runs away when he does not have built up barriers.  He does okay in a kennel for a few hours at a time but prefers to be napping on the couch when you’re not around.  He has occasionally gotten into things and is a little mischievous when you are not looking.  He tends to "mark his territory" when he smells that other dogs have been around.  He also has a small puppy that he takes to bed with him every night and holds in his mouth to sleep.

Rocky adoption fee includes: 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, de-wormer, neutered, DHPP vaccination, Rabies vaccination, micro-chip, flea/tick preventive, heartworm preventive, and a full veterinary exam.  $250.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
