Rocky is a funny boy!  He likes to be right where his people are and loves to snuggle.  He is very friendly with dogs, cats, kids and humans of all ages.  He knows his name, sit, stay, kennel and food.  He is kennel trained and will go in there willingly at night or when we are gone, he will whine at first but will settle down once he knows he isn't going to be let out - he will also whine if he can see you and he is in the kennel. Rocky has been left to roam the house while his people are away and he usually just lays around (he will dump the garbage though so that should be put away if you aren't going to kennel him). He does well on the leash if you use a gentle leader - he doesn't like the feeling on his face but he is easily controlled if he wears it - it makes it more enjoyable to wolk him that way. Rocky is definitely easy to train as he is a people pleaser.  He's not super food motivated, he likes to graze all day at his bowl so we are trying to get him on a schedule so the others don't steal his food.  He also came with two stuffed animals and he likes to play keep away other dogs.  He is very funny and cute!  Rocky is a mellow dog, he has grown out of most of his puppy energy and has good focus - don't be fooled though, he is nowhere near an old man yet - when it is time to play, he definitely plays!  He will be a joy to anyone in his new home!  He looks at his people with the most loyal, loving, big, brown eyes, he makes my heart melt!

Rocky's adoption fee includes: neuter, rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, de-wormer, flea/tick preventive, heart worm preventive, a full veterinary exam, and micro-chip (pre-paid) adoption fee: $265.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
