Kaiser is a wonderful, energetic yet laid back, 4 year old that still has a lot of puppy in him. He loves to play but is very gentle. He loves to be talked to and communicates back by winking his eyes, yawning, vocalizing but NEVER barking. He loves to play in the snow and is very comfortable being an inside animal. He will sleep on the floor beside your bed through the entire night while you sleep. He has NEVER barked inside of the house. He is housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Kaiser is leash trained and is very good at loose-leash walking. He has learned manners and is easily trainable with positive reinforcement.

Kaiser was seized from a hoarding situation in Pine City about three months ago. He was locked up in a small fenced in area with lots of other dogs, he does not have a dominant personality but LOVES attention from his people so he may get jealous of new dogs at first but he would never be aggressive about it. Being that he was not socialized well with humans or cats for the first couple years of life, he needs a low-key, laid-back forever home. Young, unpredicatbale children would most likely scare him and may make him more reserved. He should also have a home with a fenced in yard (fence at least 6' tall) as he could jump a smaller fence if he got spooked while he is outside.  He has come so far from when we first got him in rescue that we would like him to continue to flourish.

Kaiser has been in a foster home that has worked with him on beign a service dog - which he is excelling at. He is listed at servicedogregistration.org under his foster and his name. He is currently registered as a service dog for diabetes and it would include the blind once his training is complete.

Kaiser would make a great addition to pretty much any family. :)
