Texas (Tex) is a gentle, sweet boy.  He takes a bit to warm up but once he does he will forever be devoted to his family.  He is kennel trained (but does well not being kenneled), walks great on a leash, and is 100% house broken.  He has only been with us a short time but is adjusting well.  Tex loves toys and likes to keep them for himself but I think over time and having a buddy he would play great with them.  Tex has a nose and even though he stays pretty close having a fenced yard would be better for his nose not to wander.  Texas is a wonderful boy and would be a great addition to any family.  We do not know much about Tex’s past but he lives for the future in a wonderful loving home. 

We are not sure of Tex's age but is about 4.

Texas’s adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $275.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
