Meet Oscar!  He is part St. Bernard and acts as though he has finished off the bottle of booze that is supposed to be attached to his collar.  He's never met a fun time he didn't like whether it involves a baby crawling over him and exploring his ears or romping through giant mud puddles with an older kid.  He is so naturally good natured that anyone can give him a bath after he comes out on the losing side of a mud fight.  This boy cleans up well.  With fur as soft as a rabbit, even the iciest of hearts won't stand a chance once he turns on the charm and looks at you with adoring eyes.  Oscar is a pretty well behaved boy but he still needs firm boundaries.  He is learning that he doesn't have to be his person's shadow and it's ok to have a little "me time" in his kennel even if his family is home.  Oscar is ripe for separation anxiety so he is being taught that it is ok to be alone.  It is imperative that this training continue once he is adopted. Oscar would love to be in a home with kids and another dog.  He also does love to play and run around so a place with land would be his dream. 

Oscar's  adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $300.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
