Louie is a love.  He is slow to warm up but once he does he is your best friend.  Louie loves other dogs of all ages.  Louie does not seem to mind the cat and loves to play with dogs his size.  Louie loves kids, but infants he is unsure of, he would never hurt a baby but does try to mount them so with a little training he would be ok with even little, little kids.  He is in a foster home with three boys’ ages ranging from 3, 7, &10 and he loves them all.  Men he is very unsure of.  He was in a foster home with a man and did great but if there is a woman in the picture he would way rather be with her and kids.  He growls and runs away but with time he would learn to love men in a family setting.  Louie is kennel trained, and is house broken but we keep all of our dogs on a good schedule, so he may have an accident or two until he asks to go out at his forever home.  He loves his kennel and has never made a mess in there.  All the dogs eat separately so not sure how he would do sharing food with another dog but has no issues with people around him when he eats.  He loves toys and to snuggle in your lap.  Louie likes walks and playing in the yard with the other dogs.  Louie would make a great addition to any home.

Louie’s adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, dental, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $265.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
