Penelope is a docile, gentle, sweet girl. She has done great with every dog she has meet, she does need to learn some manners when meeting new dog, but loves to play with all the dogs she has meet. She meet a cat at the vet clinic sniffed it a little the cat batted at her and she ran away. She is very short and stocky but all of it is love. She has no food aggression, but loves food so training is breeze; and takes treats very nicely.  She knows sit, down and stay.  She will start to pull on the leash but a quick correction and she is right back to walking nicely.  Penelope does not bark much but is a grunter and it is quite funny to listen to.  She also does very well in the bath. Penelope would make a great family dog, she is not mouthy and loves to snuggle and naps are her favorite past time. She is doing great with potty training and just loves to be by her people. Penelope is a princess and loves to be the center of attention.  She may do better as the only dog, but has done very well with a house full of dogs and kids.

Penelope's adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive (seasonal), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $265.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
