Kayla is a wonderful, sweet velcro dog that would like to be the only dog - she wants her human all to herself.  Kayla was found in an abandoned home with another dog - they survived eating their own feces and had no water.  She has a little bit of healing to do and while that is going on, wants to be a snuggle bug.  While she tolerates the other dogs she is with, she likes to warn them to stay away by curling her lip.  It doesn't always get a good reaction.  She does not have any interest in kitties - they are just there as far as she is concerned.  She has spent time with an 11 y/o and was respectful and playful.  She has not had exposure to small children yet.  Kayla is very strong and gives every indication that she would make a great skijoring partner.  She would definitely make a great running partner.  Kayla thinks she can fly like the birds and makes every effort to catch them when out for a walk.  She would benefit greatly from obedience training and may even have potential for agility.  Just a fun and loving gal looking for her forever home. 
We are not sure of her breed!! She really is a mixed breed that is looking for an amazing forever home!!

Kayla's adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee:  $285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
