Introducing Archey!

Archey is a 1 year old Alaskan Malamute(/Samoyed mix?). He’s a big goofy puppy who loves to play and rough house.  Like all young malamutes he's rowdy, jumpy & mouthy. He is full of puppy exuberance and needs to continue to work on his manners. He loves people and other dogs, but he isn't the most coordinated athlete so he might be better with older, sturdier human kids. He should not go to a home with cats. He likes cats but he wants to play with them and plays too rough for a little cat.

He is protective of his food around other dogs but is fine if a human takes his bowl away. He is not possessive of his toys. Archey is mostly potty trained but has had a few accidents at his foster home. He loves riding in the car. He is currently being crate trained. He doesn’t like to go into it but once inside, he is fine and does not bark to get out. He is still learning how to walk on a leash without pulling too much. His ideal family would be an active, Malamute-experienced family with another dog or two to play with and keep him company while the family is away. Archey would make a great running or skijoring partner

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
