Wrangler is a goofy, happy, friendly and fun loving guy. He has medium to high energy. Wrangler pictures do not do him justices, he is a strikingly handsome man who loves everyone and has done great with the older kids in his foster home. Sometimes he seems a little overwhelming at first but he settles down and lounges in the house very nicely. He is housebroken and crate trained, and will run in his crate to wait for his treat.

He is working on basic manners and commands, and needs some help with proper leash etiquette. He responds well when corrected for doing something inappropriate like putting his feet on the counter. He has not shown any food aggression, he just really loves to eat and wants all he can get! It only took him a few meals to learn he cannot dive into the first bowl put on the floor and he has to wait his turn for his own bowl.

Wrangler LOVES playing with squeaky tennis balls and even seems to have some retrieving skills. He loves when one of his foster brothers is in a playful mood and will play tug-o-war or a good game of chase.

Wrangler would do best in a home with another dog that doesn't care if Wrangler tries to steal food or toys. Wrangler is not aggressive about it; he just needs to learn that not every dog wants to share everything!

He has a cute funny quirk of loving to taste test the water as soon as the bowl is refreshed. Sometimes he sticks his paw in first or his whole nose.  Wrangler is a spectacular dog and would make an amazing loving partner for any family or person.
