Daisy and Duke are extremely bonded 7.5 year old Basset hounds. They have been together their entire lives and NEED to be adopted together. They are extremely good dogs and each weigh about 45-50 pounds. They are crate trained, they go in without a fight and they love to cuddle together in the same crate when their people are gone at work. They are also fully housetrained and don't have accidents at all! If you say the word "outside" they both run to the back door to be let outside to do their business. They are allowed free roam at night but tend to just curl up near each other and sleep through the night. They are not huge barkers but will let you know when there is a stranger outside the house or in the yard. They both know basic commands such as, "sit, stay, down, leave it, etc." They love to go for walks together and walk side by side without a hitch.

Daisy is playful at times but seems to be the more laid back of the two. She will play until she is tired and then will let her playmates know that she is tired of playing and wants to be left alone - this isn't aggressive at all but she lets them know she is done. She plays the role of her brothers keeper and never lets him get out of her sight. She wants to make sure he is safe! She LOVES belly rubs and is quick to roll on her back to get one!

Duke is a little higher energy than Daisy and LOVES attention from people. He lays on his back pretty quickly for a belly rub as well. He wakes his foster mom up in the morning with lots of slobbery kisses. He loves to romp and play with his sister and his canine foster brother who is an English bulldog. Duke is pretty agile, even though he has short stubby legs! He is able to jump up onto chairs and then onto tables if you aren't careful. He is, clearly, food motivated.

These two dogs will make a family extremely happy! They are great additions to any type of family and are very easy dogs to have around! If you don't want the hassle of training a dog, but want a couple of new companions, please consider these two pups because they are pretty much perfect!

Duke and Daisey's adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $350.00 total for both
