Bailey is all about people.  She loves to be with her people and loves to give kisses  and cuddle .  She is a sweet girl who enjoys plenty of exercise, like walks in the park, tug of war or fetch.  However, she would rather have you chase her to get the ball when she plays fetch!  

Bailey has had basic training.  She knows how to sit, go down, shake and spin.  To get Bailey to look at someone, they just need to use the word “Focus.”  However, if there is a squirrel or a nice scent of something on the trail, focus doesn’t always work.  Usually if someone says “Let’s go” she will move on.  

She does great on a leash if she is not being walked with another dog.  When her previous owner walked her with another dog and she would pull. 

Bailey is very in tune with the emotions of her people and other dogs around her.  She feeds off those emotions weather  it is happy, sad or  playful.  

Bailey is somewhat timid.  She needs to be properly and patiently introduced to new people, dogs and objects.  Once she is familiar with them she is fine.  

She has lived with another dog and a cat.  She has been around kids from infancy up and  has done  fine. However, Bailey is 50 pounds of muscle and if she knows someone, is very excited to see them. So, keep this in mind when she is around small children as they may get knocked over until her excitement calms down.  This takes about 10 minutes.  

Bailey is a smart, sweet girl who would be the perfect addition to an active family’s home.  The more people the happier Bailey would be.  

Bailey's  adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dewormed, Distemper vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, spay, prepaid microchip and heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:265.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
