Hi. My name is Winnie. I am a young blue heeler mix. Someone intentionally ran me over with their car, but now I’m all fixed up and ready to find my forever home! Right now I live with a dog, cat, 2 birds, a lizard and a fish. I LOVE to play with the other dog. I would play with the cat too, but she doesn’t seem interested so I leave her alone except for the occasional smell or sometimes I try to lick her. I am pretty much house-trained, but sometimes I am so excited to be outside that I forget to go potty and then I have an accident later, but I always try to go outside if someone would just open the door! I love to be outside and explore. Once I get a scent I can’t help but follow it, so even though my foster family has a fenced in yard they put me on a tie out because I might try to dig under the fence to follow my scent.  I love walks too. I also really really love cuddling. I could have you rub my belly all day if you wanted. I also love my food and I love to chew on bones. I am a little shy at first, but once you get to know me you will see I love to play and cuddle all day.

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
