Hi! My name is Katniss-yes like the books and movies (AKA Pistol). I'm a Boxer/Catalburun mix. It's safe to guess that I will be mid-sized to large when full grown. As you can see in the pics, I'm a fawn color. Check out the dark marking on my back and going down my tail. I have a spot of white on my chin and my rear feet. One foot has one white toe and the other has two white toes.  My brother, Gale, is with me in our foster home. We live with 3 small dogs and 2 big dogs. A couple of the dogs like to play with us, but when the others say "no" we leave them alone. I'm not quite sure what to make of the cat in the house. She meows at me, but doesn't want to play. I especially like chewing on things: bones, toys, other dogs' tails, human toes, etc) It gets me in trouble often-I have been rolled on my back when I get carried away. Then I calm down for a little while. I love to run and jump on & off things. I love running alongside the big dogs! Even when I get run over. When I'm tired I like to cuddle, but I tear around a lot before I'm ready to sleep. I am crate trained and am very proud to say that we keep our (I share it with my brother.) crate dry and sleep all night! We whine if we're in the crate and have to go potty. If I'm let out every two hours and right after playing hard, I won't have any accidents. I would probably do best in a home with another 4 legged buddy, otherwise I will drive my humans crazy with my endless energy. Even though I'm working on my manners, I would do better around older kids because I like play rough and bite alot.
