Ace is an amazing dog. He is a 1.5 year old, 100 #, Mastiff Lab X who adores playing. He does have some separation anxiety and tends to destroy any crate you put him in but if he has a companion he is just fine and he doesn't need to be crated. He is such a good boy. He is very gentle giant. He gets along with all dogs and even cats. If he doesn't have a dog to play with he will try to play with the cat but I get the feeling they are intimidated by him and run off - then he thinks the chase is on! Ace is just a big cuddle buddy.
ÂÂÂÂHe can play with any size dog on their level. He plays with my 6# Chihuahua X and has not eaten her yet. He doesn't like the taste of animal. He will follow you around the house. Ace has very good house manners and uses the outdoor facility. Ace does need another dog to play with - he is all about Play Play Play. He loves the dog park where he can run and play with other dogs. He loves bones to chew on. And at the end of the day he wants nothing more than to lay on the floor at your feet or on the sofa with you to relax. He is not a big barker, but will bark when someone comes to the door or he thinks someone is trying to get in your backyard. He doesn't require a fenced yard but it is nice to have one so he can run. Ace has an awesome temperament, if a dog snaps at him, I have never seen him react in kind. He just walks away. Ace would love to have children to play with, but older children. He is a gentle giant, but even gentle giants don't always realize how big they are and he would most likely end up knocking them over often. He is such a great dog and he will make the right person or family a great companion.
