Meet Violet, she is a year and half year old German Sheppard mix.  Violet is house trained, but doesn't like the kennel at all so we leave her out and she does great with no accidents.  She has chased the cats a couple of times but we simply tell her to "leave it" and she does.  Violet knows some basic commands but she can be a bit of an escape artist (pulled out of her collar and ran but came right back when I called her name to come). We are working on still working on staying down when you come thru the door (she gets excited when you return) and gentle taking treats. She loves to be outside but equally loves coming inside to snuggle.  Violet favors her from left leg due to an old injury that was not looked at but something the vet did not think she could fix.  But that does not slow her down.   Violet does pretty well with most other dogs but prefers submissive mellow dogs and does not do well with dogs in her face.  She has done well with kids even though her foster home now has older children.  Violet is a great pup and is waiting for her forever home. 

Violet's adoption fee includes:  rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $275.00 

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
