Rex is an outgoing goofy young man.  Rex is about 10 months old and is learning some basic commands; he knows sit and does it about 85% of the time.  Rex does not walk great on a leash when you first start walking but after a little bit he walks better.  He does pretty well in his kennel but does much better if he has been able to wear off some energy.  He has a ton of it!  He would love to be in a home with another active dog that he could play with all day.  He loves toys and people of all sizes.  But he still gets feisty so little kids may get knocked over or jumped on.  He is very food motivated so training will be easy.  He does not do well with live stock like chickens (no farms for this guy).  Rex is doing amazing with house training but still is learning to go to the door, so we are bell training him.  He is starting to get it; we have just kept him on a schedule.  Rex is a loyal guy and would love a family that he can give tons of love to and keep them active.

Rex's rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $300.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
