Hello, my name is EJ.  I came into rescue as an owner surrender and now I'm searching for my forever family.  I'm a year and a half old and about 64.5 pounds but my foster mom says I don't know my own size, I really think I should be able to sit on her lap on the couch. I love a good belly rub and I'm a sweet guy.  I would love a family of my own who is active enough to play ball, take me for walks or runs, and go for car rides!  Obedience training would be fun because I'm super smart and a fast learner.  I sit very well and am pretty good at coming when called, I even sit down when I see the leash so that the human can get it on and we can get outside! One thing you should know is if I came home with you, you might want to keep the bathroom door closed as I can lift the toilet seat to get myself a drink.  I get along well with other dogs, and don't know about cats.   I've only been staying at my foster home for two nights, the first night I spent in the crate and was good all night long.  The second night I wasn't very happy about being in the crate and my foster mom let me sleep in the bedroom.  I slept on a dog bed on the floor next to the bed and did fine all night.  I love the outdoors and my foster mom is thankful for my chuck-it and so am I because I love playing ball and I'm super good at it.  After a good round of playing ball I can relax.

EJ's adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordatella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $295.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
