Are you looking for a full-grown boy who loves to snuggle, run, bike-ride or just sit watch TV or read with you?  I am that boy.  I would really love my own family.  I know my foster Mom loves me, but
she has to split her love among too many of us.  My real dream is tohave my own family; with children would be a bonus.
I am a Collie/Husky X.  I was born in October of 2011.   I am crate-trained, but do not really need to
go into the crate as I don't chew up anything or mess up the house. I have very good house manners - I always use the outside facilities.  I love to go on walks or runs. I am a strong alpha male so I would not do well with another alpha male.  I do love to play so a playmate that is a submissive male or female would be great. I am mostly a quite boy but I do sometimes like to howl.  I do need a yard and can jump a 4 foot fence. I am a very confidant, outgoing & happy go lucky boy.  I love my people - whoever that may be if they love me.  I am goofy sometimes.  And I am eager to please.
I had a rough start in life.  I am so grateful to the rescuers at NDLB - if it were not for them I do not know if I would ever have gotten to know how good life can be.  I was living in an outside kennel and it was NOT a nice kennel.  I had no fur on my feet all the way up to my ankles from having to live in my urine & feces.  I was heartworm positive and had lymes.  The day that NDLB came to get me I was so terriffied.  I didn't want to come out of my little house; then I saw their friendly faces and with their gentle coaxing I came out.  I sure am glad I let them  take me with them.  My life has changed dramatically and thanks
to them and their wonderful foster homes, I have also become a happy, confidant dog
