How did I get to NDLB: Maple Grove Impound Personality: Jake loves to play with other dogs and people. He is a big goof! He gets super happy when people give him love and because of that might not be great with little kids who are not familiar with big dogs. He is super gentle most of the time but he is BIG so parents need to be aware he might just bump someone over! But he is truly a great dog around kids 50# and bigger. He also loves to lay around by people. He loves to lay on wood or tile (cold) floors! Commands/Tricks: Sit, stay, lay down, down, shake, other paw, come, and working on heal. Great on a leash and can be walked by 50# kids. Just need an adult nearby incase he decides to go check out stuff! Crate/Potty Trained: House broken if watched for the first couple days but since he is getting neutered on the 8th of July marking will be under control for sure after that. He has had 2 marking incidents in the 3 weeks we have had him. He is crate trained but isn't 100% in love with it. Activity Level: Little to none! Just being quite lazy works for me! Mom says I great while dad is away working and naps are good!! Fun things I do: Causing a ruckus with my house mates! Lying on the lap of whomever will let me. Eating and laying on a cool floor! Socialization/who I currently live with: Piper (6 year old Pit Bull), Wall-E The old man whom I really don’t like! (8 year old bully mix who does not like me…not even a little...but I just ignore him 99% of the time and try to play the other 1%), Shianne (my human sister), Savanah (my human drill sergeant), Jill (my Mom, groomer, pooper scooper, and best ice cube giver), and Matthew (bill payer and referee at times) Jake's adotion fee includes: : Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordatella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam.
