Honey is as sweet as her name suggests. She freely gives puppy breath kisses and instantly snuggles when picked up for some cuddles.  She is surely a retriever! Fetch is mostly happening (the go get it part always happens, the bringing it back is a little less consistent). Honey loves loves loves the water; drinking it, splashing in it, laying in it, rolling in it, swimming in it. She has even enjoyed her first slip-n-slide this summer! At the dog park, she has tumbled with dogs big and small. A little weary of the big dogs at first but quickly figured out they are just larger wrestling buddies. Honey loves everyone in her foster home which includes another puppy, two adult dogs (one medium and one large) and two kids, a 5 and 11 year old. Honey just went to the vet and weighs in at a whopping 16.8 lbs! She has thick, dense fur that is so soft and fluffy. Honey stays in our sun room during the day and a crate for sleeping at night and she has had NO ACCIDENTS. The 11 year old has been responsible for watching her during the work day, and we all know how forgetful children can be especially when it comes to letting puppies outside to go potty every few hours! Nonetheless, Honey has not slipped up one single time. This is unheard of for such a young puppy! She sleeps from 9 PM to 5 AM  in her crate completely dry and does not whine (outside of the first two minutes when you put her to bed). We tried walking on a leash once and she is not a fan. We didn't even make it to the end of the street so that will take some more hard work :)
Honey is an absolute doll and we are so happy to have her in our home as part of our family until her forever family finds her!

(The paperwork she came with says she is a Husky mix, her sister looks like a rottie doxie mix) So we took our best educated guess and felt she was much more yellow lab then anything.

Honey's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dewormed, Distemper vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, prepaid microchip, spay, 4DX and heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $325.00
