Hi, my name is Finnegan.  I am a neutered, 11 month old, male yellow lab (mix?) with a lot of energy as most young dogs have.  I love running, playing catch, chasing and playing with other dogs and even cats.  I like all humans, big or small, so children are A-OK with me.  I would prefer sleeping on the bed with you but I do ok in a crate if you would prefer.  I am good while riding in the car, I will stick my head out the window until I get tired of, then just lay down and relax.  Like I said before I am high energy so leaving me alone for too long with free reign is not such a good idea.  I recently found it only takes 4 rolls of toilet paper to completely cover the floor in 3 rooms of my foster parents house.

I just spent a weekend at my foster’s, Mom’s house in Wisconsin, on a lake surrounded by woods and I LOVED IT.  While I was there I helped picking up all sorts of sticks, stalked and chased the local chipmunks, stalked and caught mice, so maybe if I had some special training I might become a good hunting dog.  I also discovered water for the 1st time and I think I liked it.  I am proud that the whole time I was there I never strayed too far from my people.  I look forward to meeting you and possibly becoming the newest member of your family.
