Pearl is a 3 month old female hound/pit bull mix that is about 20 pounds currently. Like Mary Poppins, Pearl is “Practically perfect in every way”.  If her beautiful white coat and gray blue eyes don’t make you fall in love, her personality will.  She is the perfect mix of playfulness and affection. Pearl is great with dogs of all sizes, she is respectful of cats, and has been around children of all ages without a problem. Pearl loves to chew on toys and her foster mom has a TON of toys all over the house so that Pearl has plenty of options to chew on. If she doesn't have toys to chew on, she will grab a shoe or something she isn't supposed to chew on but when toys are available - she doesn't bother with anything but the chew toys! Pearl is housetrained, we let her out every couple of hours and she makes sure to go to the bathroom every time she has an opportunity. She is also crate trained, she sleeps in her crate through the night (up to 8 hours so far) without a peep. She is also crated when her foster mom goes to work - she has been left for 6 hours at a time without an accident! We are working on her leash training and she is making progress! Sometimes she just wants to stop and smell the roses because life is so interesting! Pearl doesn't love to ride in the car but she is getting better at this as well. She mainly just wants to be in your lap to cuddle because it is a scary experience for her. This little girl will seriously make any new family very happy!

Pearl's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dewormed, Distemper vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, prepaid microchip and heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $300.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
