My name is Peanut. I'm 8 years old and a sassy lil girl. I'm UTD on all shots and I'm spayed. My favorite thing to do is sit on the back of the couch and look the entire window all day. I'll bark and let you know if anything looks suspicious outside. I will keep you safe from bags in the street, leaves blowing and people. Anything I don't think should be there I'll be on it. I am fearful of men but if they are sitting/laying down I like to cuddle with them, I do not like them hovering over me. I am not a fan of my kennel if a man puts me in but I go right in for any lady. I do pretty well with kids, but older more considerate kids are more my speed. I am a bit stubborn about going outside to go potty, so you have to make me go or I will go in the house. I know better but the world is large and I am so little.  Even with my few faults I am a love and have so much to offer.  I'm a dachshund. I weigh about 15 lbs. I'm a snuggler at night and will crawl right under the covers with you. I like treats and squeaky toys.

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
