Meet Rogers (a.k.a. Rocko)! Rocko didn't have the best start in life. He and his siblings were an unwanted litter and he was among the few puppies that thankfully found their way into rescue. Upon arrival in our home he had two seizures. He immediately went into emergency veterinary care for 24-hours; however, has never had a seizure since and the cause remains unknown. We are so happy to have him blossoming into the curious, adventurous, brave puppy that he is today! Rocko is happy, healthy, and loves getting into mischief while he figures out the world around him. He lives with two resident dogs that are happy to show him the ropes. He is a smart little guy who patiently sits next to the raspberry garden while I pick, waiting for his special treat. He knows 'sit,' 'no bite,' and is learning many others. Rocko is crate-trained and will quietly remain there as long as he is not hungry or thirsty. The little guy is picking-up potty training very quickly. He has the occasional potty accident in his crate or when he's playing (and doesn't want to stop the fun!); however, he does know what he needs to do outside and is great about doing so. He loves it when you play with him and often comes to see what you're doing if you're not playing with him! After play-time and/or running around Rocko really loves to be snuggled, especially enjoys having his neck rubbed/scratched. He prefers napping with you, but is happy to nap in his crate, too. On walks Rocko will trot next to the resident dogs and us, proud to be a part of the pack. Rocko is a very special little guy and wants to find a forever home that is nothing but the utmost best, could it be yours?" Roger's adoption fee includes: DHPP vaccination (age appropriate), bordatella vaccination, de-wormer, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam.
