Hi my name is Lucy, I am a Mountain Cur. I was born in Texas in September so whenever I go outside I shiver, Minnesota sure is cold! I am getting used to the snow and have figured out it can actually be fun to play in. My foster family has a big dog I like playing and snuggling with. I actually love snuggling with anybody and  think I am a lap dog. I have met little people and get very excited to give them kisses. Mom says they don't always like that so I need to learn manners. I am working on potty training and am doing pretty good considering I have only been here a couple days. I am learning basic commands like off, sit and down, my foster brother is very impressed with me. (He says I am his favorite foster they have had.) My breed is known for hunting and sometimes "treeing" the prey. I tried showing mom how that's done this morning when I chased the birds in the tree. Problem was they flew away, oh well I'll figure it out. I love my puppy pen and am happy to go in at night and sleep until my people get up. I am a sweet, loving girl that would love to find a furever home that would help me learn manners and keep me active.
