Professional cuddle bug and vocalist - looking for forever home! Hi there, my name is Louie - Foster mom tells me Louie is short for absolutely everything amazing. I'm potty trained, good with kids, good with dogs, and I love playing fetch! Looking for a band member? Look no further! I'm great at the vocals! I love to make all sorts of goofy noises when trying to get my foster parents to play - low rumbles, wimpers, squeals...anything... you name it and I can probably re-create it with my goofy vocal cords! I'm fantastic at a Tim the Tool man impression! (Not familiar? Google 'home improvement grunt', you'll love it!). You can expect this sound from me when we're playing or if I have to go potty - usually I bark though if I really have to go potty, I don't mess around with that stuff. I have great manners, I know to sit and wait before I'm told it's okay to eat, I don't steal food off the table, and I don't destroy things when I'm left alone! I will gladly go into my kennel if you prefer that - but I don't need to be in there. I'm left alone with my foster sister (fellow canine) about 8-9 hours a day and I don't touch a thing except my own bone or toys! I don't have accidents or anything! But wait, there's more - I am the words best snuggle bug in the entire universe! My whole world crumbles at the opportunity for a good cuddle. On the couch watching TV? I'm there! Getting ready for bed? Oh I will fluff those pillows and warm up the blankets for you like a personal butler! I love resting my head on your lap or belly while we drift off into dream land together. I also make funny noises while I sleep - don't judge - it's what I do. One thing I want my new family to know is that I'm extremely shy. I don't have the best past, so that makes me nervous around new people and in new places. I'm working on that though - I go to shy dog school every Monday night, and my foster mom and dad bring me everywhere with them. Sometimes it just takes some time to get from point A to B because I like to try and hide much of the time I'm outside. I like to go to the dog park (because here I am free to keep a safe distance from strangers), to run, sniff and play with my foster sister! I'm still working on my manners with new, pushy dogs there, because I like slow introductions, and sometimes at the dog park I just get chased the entire time. I don't get mean, no, I'm seriously the sweetest dog ever - I just like to keep my distance, and if that's not possible I show my teeth a lot. Because I'm shy like this, I really need a home that will be very, very patient with me as I get used to my new surroundings and new people. But trust me, once I do get comfortable, you will LOVE seeing how unique, goofy and loving I am! Are you the lucky one that will bring me into your home?
