"Violet i s a love bug! She loves being petted and having her belly scratched. She appears to be house trained, and the only accident she has had was when we didn't see her at the door. Violet knows some basic commands, walks well on a leash, and comes when called. She's a little overweight so we are working on slimming down. Violet has discovered that chasing balls, playing tug and attacking dog toys are fun! She gets along well with other dogs and with cats. Violet likes nothing better than sitting on the couch and watching the activity outside. She is a good "watch dog" and barks when people come to the door or when the scary UPS man stops in front of the house. Initially, Violet was very scared but after 24 hours, she relaxed and bonded with us. She can be weary of strangers but if you are patient with her, Violet has endless amounts of love to give!

Violet's adoption fee includes: rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive,(seasonal) heartworm preventive (seasonal) pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee:$285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
