Charlie

sorry it took us so long to write an update. Charlie is doing great. She is almost 2 years old now. She is super energetic and loves to play. Especially if playing involves water and it doesn't matter if it's a sprinkler, a lake or a garden hose. She is great around people and other dogs. Even though she is not puppy sized anymore we still get stopped on the street by people complimenting her. She has made lots of dog friendships and loves to play with them. The things Charlie loves the most besides dogs and people are sticks and rope toys, rawhide, ice cubes, car rides, going for long walks and hanging out on the deck while protecting the yard from intruders (like squirrels and birds and even though she chases them, she makes no effort to actually catch them). She also has a strange obsession with human ears. When you are sitting on the floor, she will try to lick them (this is also how she wakes us up in the morning). In the evening when she is all tired out, she curls up on the couch and watches TV. But as soon as another dog appears on the screen, she gets up and sits down right in front of it and just stares with her head tilted. She is eager to learn and besides the basic commands, she knows a lot of tricks. And on a side note, the thing hanging out of her mouth in the picture is a stuffed animal that she took apart (a wing of a pterodactyl to be exact). Long story short, we couldn't have asked for a better dog and we can't imagine our lives without her. Matt, Katie & Eli

Chloe

She has adjusted to our home and routine very well. She loves to play with our basset mix Moose and is learning our outside routines, she still likes to run if we don't have her on a leash but this will stop in time with some training, and with walks with moose when the weather gets warmer. She is an absolute joy to our family and by the second day we new she was just the dog for us.Potty training is still ongoing as she still has accidents here and there, and she is now kennel trained and like to sleep in her crate during the day while we are at work. We cant thank you enough for letting us take her in to our home. Thanks so much, The Kutz family

Colby

Colby (left) waiting for trick or treaters with his brother Radar in his forever home! Colby was SUPPOSED to be a small beagle his whole life... apparently that wasn't the case! At 6 months old he's already 40 lbs and he's not done yet! His forever family still loves him and spoils him the way he deserves :) They believe that the right description to describe Colby’s beagle ‘heritage’ is that he is a ‘super sized beagle’….just like McDonald’s offers. There is more of him to love!
