The dogs themselves try to remain hopeful about their situation - even though adoptions are few. Laura then strives to find a way out of the shelter for all of the dogs - even as its future is threatened by a cash-strapped city government and the dogs remain trapped in an uncaring system with an uncertain future . . . Her left eye was so severly infected it had to be removed. Despite her ruff beginning she loves ALL people and loves to play. Just when life was looking up for this girl her right eye started giving her trouble. Turns out she is developing a cataract. Which left untreated will cause blindness. The veterinarian has determined Penny's eye CAN BE SAVED. ~ This sweet girl has been through SO much in her short 3 years; can you help us help her keep her eyesight?
