Hi! My name is Zelda, I’m a 5 year old beagle mix. I came to NDLB as a stray with my puppies from a shelter in Kentucky. I am full grown at 20lbs, though my foster mom is working on helping me fill out a bit. I live with another dog and two cats. It took me a bit to get comfortable but now i love to play with the other dog here. She’s smaller then me but we play really well! My foster home has 5 kids and I do well with them too. I will give them a couple kisses on their hands when they pet me. I’m very polite with them.

I am very well behaved. I love being outside, sniffing around. Inside I enjoy relaxing on the couch, and being with my foster family. When they leave I bark for a minute and then just take a nap. I also don’t mind being kenneled. I am working on not jumping up to steal food when the foster moms not in the room. I am potty trained and will sit by the door when I’d like to go out. 
I love playing with toys, I’ll chase a ball or chew on a bone. I am good on a leash, I don’t pull however I do get a little nervous meeting new dogs on a leash so slow and steady when on walks. I do love sniffing and following my nose, foster mom says that’s the beagle in me! 

Zelda's adoption fee includes: DHPP vaccination to age, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, de-wormer, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, pre-paid microchip, spay, and a full veterinary exam: $325.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
