Tom is a 64 pound lab mix born approximately 8/2015. He is a very laid-back guy that is house-trained, crate-trained, walks amazing on leash, and rides nicely in the car. He does get some anxiety when left alone in his crate, but is perfectly fine when he has another furry friend in the room with him to keep him company. We think he’d even be okay left out to roam if that’s what his forever family wants. Once he’s comfortable, he loves to play and snuggle. He’s happy doing whatever his people want. Tom is a really good listener and knows basic commands including sit, stay, off, come, nice, and more! He likes having a bed of his own on the floor, but he LOVES joining his people on the couch and especially sleeping in bed with them at night. He leaves the cats alone, and respects other dogs’ communication as well, but also wants that same respect in return. If he gets overwhelmed by other dogs, he is not afraid to let them know. He was inpatient with his foster’s high energy dog at first, but after a couple days he came out of his shell and now loves playing with her! He should always have proper slow introductions to other dogs. Tom really just wants to make his people happy and he picks up on things rather quickly. If you’re looking for a very well-behaved boy then this may be the pup for you! Tom has had an issue with a young child in the past, so  only children older than 14 years that are  respectful  of his boundaries please.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dental, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
