Z is an approx 1- 2 year old shepherd mix that came to us as a stray. Z is a very lovable dog and will steal kisses any chance he gets. He does walk well on a leash until his nose finds something then he likes to go in his own direction.  This is something that we continue to work on. He is dog friendly and kid friendly. As he his working on jumping and doesn't realize his own strength he would do better in a family with older children.

He is crate trained and does well in it overnight and for longer periods of time if left by himself. He is working on housebreaking and does well on a schedule.  
 
At 75 lbs he still thinks he's a lap dog and will jump on your lap in the chair. He also loves to cuddle. 
 
He would do well with a fenced in yard or a family that can take him on walks 2 to 3 times a day. 
 
We are working on sit, down, stay for when the door opens as he is very curious about what is going on outside. He is learning leave it as well.
