Hey there, I'm Zeke! I am a 43 lb, 10-12 month German Shepard mix. I am a great buddy! Foster mom talks a lot about how mellow I am. I guess I just like to hang out! Sometimes if I am bored I'll wander around until I find something to nibble or foster mom gives me a bone. I like to check on the people by nudging them for pets every now and again. Foster mom has also been trying to teach me some tricks, like "sit" and "stay" and "come", but I don't really get them yet.

 

 

I really like my kennel. I get in it right away when told and can hang out in there all night without any problems. Sometimes when I'm really tired or just feel like being lazy, I put myself to bed! My favorite sleeping position is on my back with all four legs in the air. 

 

I haven't gotten to show foster mom how good I am with kids yet, but I am really polite to other dogs and my foster cat sibling. I do better playing one on one with another dog rather than groups. One time, foster mom brought me to a dog training class and I just preferred to sit calmly instead of playing too much. 

 

I really like bones and am learning to play fetch. Sometimes foster mom gives me toys but I don't really know what to do with those. I loooove walks! The squirrels and bunnies look like they could be fun to play with, but foster mom usually keeps me away from those when I get too interested. I behave pretty well on a leash with a harness, the harness helps me remember not to pull so much. I am working on being more of a gentleman on a leash and I like the treats that come along with that practice! Sometimes, we even run and I think I could be really good as a running partner!
