Yote, also called Yodi, is a nine month old female German shepherd mix that looks just like a mini Coyote! She is small, soft and snuggly. She is super friendly and loves everybody, especially kids that will crawl up in anybody’s lap and just roll over. She has been in a home for a week and when she first came she had a few accidents  but was on some medication that was making her pretty sick. Now she’s back to her sweet happy self but is not allowed to roam the house unsupervised. She has not had any accidents in the past 5 days. She is kennel trained and sleeps all night in the kennel with no crying. She also loves to watch TV!
Yote had a playdate with several dogs today and was friendly and submissive but we don't have any in the home. She was shy at first but warmed up quickly to other dogs bigger and smaller and loved running in the fenced yard with them. She sticks close to me and comes when called.

Leash training is progressing. She is very interested in the squirrels and rabbits but can easily be redirected. She lays down for car rides and does not make a noise. She had her first “pup cup” and everyone at the coffee shop wanted to adopt her. Favorite things are real bones, stuffed toys, walks and being by my people. She is a very mellow pup and is great at self entertaining. She crates well during the day, is pretty low energy and is the sweetest dog ever.
If you are looking for a cool looking, sweet, soft, cuddly mellow pup she’s your girl! Even my husband said she’s a keeper…this is from the “no more dogs” guy. She would make an amazing family pet.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
