Maltie is a super sweet 8 year old Maltese mix. He is about 10 pounds of love. Maltie is fully potty trained, and stays home alone from 8 to 5 every day. He does bark from time to time trying to find someone to play with him while I am gone. When I get home he is full of kisses, and wants lots of belly scratches! Maltie rides wonderfully in a car, as long as he is in a car crate or being held.
Maltie had a play date with some other small dogs, and had a blast! He was not a big fan of the retriever that we had staying with us for a couple of weeks though. She played a little rough for him. He would do better in a house with smaller dogs, or if it’s a larger dog, one that will not play too rough.
Maltie has been great with kids. He lets the little ones scratch his ears and give him hugs. He loves going to baseball games, especially when he can ride in a wagon. He doesn’t make a peep, and most people don’t even know he’s there!
He is not a chewer at all. He eats his food when it is put out, and has never chewed anything in the house. In fact, he does not even chew any toys. He's hoping to find a home of his own. Is that with you?
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
