Hey y'all! My name is Tish, a 25-ish pound, 5 month old Hound mix. I came here from the great state of Kentucky! A man brought me and my two siblings to a vet because we were sick. We all had Parvo - and I am the only one that survived. I am strong and healthy now and ready for my forever home! Momma thinks I might be a Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, but we don't really know. If I am, I'll be a bigger hound, (not little like a Beagle) and might like to hunt! I LOVE toys! And you know what? My very favorite toys are plastic bottles, so I bet you already have toys for me in your recycling bin! Don't have those? That's okay! I also like squeaky toys and balls. I'll play with most anything really. In fact, if you don't keep an eye on me, I'll run off with one of your shoes and play with that! I really like it outside - even when it's hot! I can spend hours wandering the fenced yard. I live with 3 resident dogs that are all bigger than me, and I love them all! I'm good at taking cues from them, and walking away when they don't want to play with me. Sometimes momma does have to shoo me away from the old grumpy dog - I just love him so much! But I know when mom says "TISHA", I'm in trouble! I do pretty well walking on a leash with another dog, but not so great by myself. If I'm scared, or want to go in another direction, I'll back up or plop myself right down and not move! I'm very good at riding in a kennel in the car, but am initially afraid to get in the car. At night, I sleep all night in the kennel in Mom and Dad's room, and go in there again when they leave for work. Oh, and you might want to put me in that kennel when you want to take a shower, or you might get some unexpected company! I LOVE a warm shower! That said, I'll probably like going to the lake for a swim! There are no kids living here, but I've met several, and I do like them. I'm potty trained on a schedule, but don't know how to ask to go outside. I'm working on my house manners too. Mom says it's not appropriate to climb up on the table like a billy goat, but I just follow my nose! When I'm done being a busy bee, I LOVE to cuddle my people, and will settle in for a Netflix marathon. Mom says I'm all ready to start my new life so she and Dad can save more mutts like me - maybe it's with you? Well? Just click next and fill out the application!
