Meet ZEUS! Zeus is a husky mix who is reported to be approximately 5 years old. His weight is perfect (not too lean, not too heavy) at 55 pounds. He was recently neutered AND had his teeth cleaned, so he's all ready to meet his fur-ever family! Zeus is fully potty-trained and does all his business outside. Zeus has been a perfect gentleman at his foster home! He's never chewed on contraband (such as shoes), never gone surfing on the kitchen counters or in the trash, or made any other mischief. Zeus has been great with the resident dogs at his current foster home and has been reported by a temporary foster to have ignored a resident cat. Most of all though, Zeus loves PEOPLE! ANY people he meets are greeted with wiggles and a hug. He wants to be by people all the time - so much so, that he will sail right over a baby gate if it's between Zeus and his people! He wants to crawl in everyone's lap for hugs and kisses, and if you stop petting him, he will gently nudge you for more. He knows how to "sit" and takes treats from the hand oh-so-gently. He loves car rides and it appears that he already knows that drive-thrus are likely to result in doggy treats! Zeus readily takes cues from the resident dogs in his foster home and quickly picks up on the family routines. At night Zeus will sleep on the floor next to your bed, although he would prefer to be on the bed with you :). Zeus does fine in the house when left alone, but he also goes in his crate readily when instructed to do so. Zeus would love to have a home with a fenced backyard since he does love exploring the great outdoors. Overall he is a perfect gentleman, a playful yet snuggly loverboy, and any family would be blessed to add Zeus to their household!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
