Hi, my name is King! I’m a determined little Cavalier King Charles puppy born 7/15/23.  I have a lot of energy and love to play all day (playing tug-of-war is my favorite).  I also love my ‘belly rubs‘ and will ask for them frequently.  I want to be around humans constantly when I’m awake but I do well for a few hours at a time in my crate during the day while my foster mom works. That’s my nap time. I’ll complain about my crate for a while at night but I’ll fall asleep fairly quickly.  I do really well with car rides and I’m still learning to walk on a leash.  I love my foster family’s children (all above the age of 10).  I haven’t had any experience with other dogs or smaller children yet.  I’m not so sure about cats (they look fun to play with) but I’m responding fairly well to “leave it” commands so far.  I am a puppy so I’m teething and working on biting my toys instead of everything else.  I’m also getting the hang of potty training but need to be taken out very frequently to reinforce the concept and sometimes I still have an accident in the house.  My foster Mom says I learn pretty quickly.  When I’m all out of energy I would love to snuggle in your lap and give you kisses!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $850.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
