Janis (aka "Bella") is a very beautiful Mini Aussie born 7/23/23. She has beautiful hazel eyes and is a fluffy 12 lb ball of love. She knows sit, has almost perfected lay down, and will go to her mat for a treat. She is 95% potty trained and walks well on a leash. Janis was returned after 10 days due to not getting along with the adopter's resident dog but gets along well with my 2 resident dogs and pretty much ignores the cat. She is not a big barker and is a little vocal when she is trying to tell you something. She will whine to go outside.
She is great with kids and is very friendly with everyone. She sleeps through the night in her kennel. She has not been left alone for long periods during the day as we work from home but we kennel her a couple times a day for short periods.
She would be great for an active family with lots of playtime with or without other dogs. This breed is active and needs daily exercise/walks, a fenced yard is not required but she would definitely love to run around.
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00
