Hi! My name is Liberty, but my foster family also calls me Libby for short. I have silky soft black fur with caramel accents on my eyebrows, muzzle and legs. I weigh 20 pounds. Here is my story. I was born in rescue on April 14, 2024. My momma is a beautiful lab mix who weighs about 60 pounds. My foster family says I’m very playful! I love, love, love to play in the backyard with people and other dogs. I also love to explore in the grass and the garden. I like toys yet I’m also thrilled to find a stock or a leaf to play with! Even an ice cube is great fun. My foster family is teaching me to go potty outside. I sometimes have an accident if I’m not taken out regularly but every time we go outside, the first thing I do is go potty. I am also learning to sit for my dinner. My foster family is using positive reinforcement clicker training with me, and I am catching on super fast! It’s fun! While my favorite place to be is snuggled on the couch with my people, I do feel safe in my crate and will run in there if I get scared. I sleep all night in my crate and I only whine if I need to go potty. I am comfortable wearing a harness but I’m still learning how to walk on a leash. In conclusion, my foster family says I’m a very sweet, well-socialized puppy!
