Independence is an adorable Golden Retriever born 3/23/24 who weighs approximately 10 pounds and has a soft and fluffy coat.

He is a very sweet boy who loves snuggling with people and being petted. He will close his eyes and soak in the moment when getting a good ear or belly rub. He loves to follow his people around and will be your constant companion. He is also good with kids and would make a great family dog. 

Independence loves spending time outdoors - swimming, playing in the grass and chewing on sticks and leaves. He is good with other dogs and enjoys wrestling and playing with his foster siblings. Independence has been generally curious around other animals and seems to do okay with cats. 

Like all puppies, Independence is still mastering the art of potty training and learning basic commands, but he is a quick learner and very eager to please. He has made progress with routine trips outside in his short time in his foster home and has had minimal accidents inside. He has learned to go to the door or stairs when he needs to go out. Independence does well in his crate, sleeping quietly for most of the night and only needing to get up once to go potty. Independence knows “sit” and “kennel up” commands and has been getting used to walking on the leash.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $850.00
