Hi, my name is Dahlia but my foster mom calls me Lia. I’m a female Golden Retriever born 4/6/24. I am a very happy and snuggly girl. I love people, kids and other dogs. I would do best in a home with another dog to play with me. My foster mom has taken me swimming in the pool. I do okay but she thinks I’d do better in a lake where I can enter slowly. I haven’t used a leash but I did have a harness on and didn’t seem to mind it. My foster mom thinks I will be fine on a leash. I am doing well learning to sit, stay and lay down. I don’t really care for my kennel but I don’t mind being in a pen. I was outside during the fireworks and I slept through the whole thing so I don’t think loud noises will be an issue for me. I ride well in a car and just lay down to sleep. I am alone when my foster mom runs errands and that is the one time I know I have to be in my kennel. Otherwise, she is home most of the time. I do sleep through the night. I will bark when I am frustrated but stop fairly quickly. I am not house trained but do use a potty pad. My foster mom thinks I will pick this up pretty quickly with a schedule. I am a fun loving, snuggly little girl who is looking for a family to spend my life loving and being loved. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
